Business School Renmin University of China (RMBS) invites applications for a tenure-track or a temporary visiting professor position starting from the 2022-23 Academic Year in the Department of Accounting. All ranks will be considered.

About the Department of Accounting: The Department of Accounting in RMBS is the birthplace of the school of accounting management activities in China and well recognized for its contributions to Chinese accounting theory and practice. The Department of Accounting excels in research and teaching of financial accounting, management accounting and intelligent accounting. The faculties have over 20 publications in top-tier international journals, such as Journal of Accounting and Economics, The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Management Science, The Journal of Finance, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. And it now offers BAcc, MAcc, MPAcc, and PhD degrees as well as Postdoctoral Research Stations. We are always looking for outstanding scholars to join us as assistant/associate/full professors in the research fields including, but not limited to, financial reporting, corporate governance, management accounting, capital markets, auditing, taxation, AI and big data, and fintech.
The compensation package (including salary, relocation fund, and fringe benefits) is competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Special assistants will be provided to help foreign faculty adapt to life in Beijing. In addition, the School supports high-quality research with abundant research grants. Due to its strong alumni network and close relationship with business communities, the School also provides its faculty opportunities to collaborate with practitioners from the industry and to conduct field research or gain access to big data.
